Reading on a boro forum that a local teeside Rangers fan was walking back to his car with his two young kids when he was attacked. He was hit from behind with a can and set on by a group of young men and is to recieve emergency dental treatment this morning. A cple of local fans assisted him and his young boys after the attack but he was said to be really shaken up. Takes the shine off our great result a little bit...hope he makes a full recovery and his children ok.

What is the matter with these people , every club has lads but i know an away fan can come to Rangers with his kids and be left alone completely , i don`t get what they gain by attacking innocent fans like this

Happened to me at home years ago at home , 5 Cardiff fans started on me I was with my 10 and 11 year olds. I was in shock u don't dig anyone out with kids. Hope our fan gets well in boro

When me and Tarbs left five or six, I’m assuming Luton, came up to the exit of ellersie and singled over three or four people
Could have been rangers on rangers as would have taken some going Luton get round in that time and have a go with those numbers surrounded by home fans
