Special mention to Luke Amos who slotted straight in and young duke mckenna that didn’t look out of place and made a fantastic tackle and had the bollocks to take a pen. To a man I salute you |

Agree Greg. Thought Amos was great when he came on. Last time I remember being this far in the cup was when we played man red at old Trafford in the quarter final. We were given the whole end behind the goal. We took around 12000 up there that day. Think it was 90s

Well happy after that
I think that performance beats most teams week in week out in the championship and that’s the bar set. Maintain that level and we won’t go far wrong
Austin first half was the Charlie of old, best game I’ve seen Ball have for us, Willock first half they could not handle and once again special mention for Amos came on and showed no signs he had been out
When he tucked his pen away the size of the smile on his face was beaming. That’s more competition in the centre of the park which bodes well
And got say like the look of McKenna prober box of energy

Prem referee favouring the prem team. I loved it when deing saved the second and turns to the ref and gave him the look of ‘how about that one’. |

He took a penalty, but that £35m piece of crap from Arsenal on £50K a week was too cowardly to take an Everton penalty. Loved sticking it to the Premiership. Bring on another one of them. That was some performance. Especially first half where we were unbelievably good on the ball. Think a neutral would be amazed that their squad is more than 10 times the worth of ours, at least on paper. Second half their quality was showing, and tbf. they had the better of us for most of it, but we dug in and ground out the win. To a man they stood up. Must say I was a bit worried, when Ozzie came on, and there was a brief moment near the end, where I thought he would fuck up, when he controlled the ball running towards his own goal, but luckily he pulled it off.
