I think Scotland still has a good chance of finishing second in that group. They´ve only lost to us (DK), and if they just beat the other teams they are still in with a shout.

Could have played for 180 minutes last night and still wouldn't have looked like scoring! Yes, I know. I was talking about the last 3 World Cup qualifying games. Obviously more difficult to score against Czech Republic, England, Croatia, and Denmark than Austria, Faroe Islands, Israel, and Moldova. Given the quality of the next 4 opponents, I would be amazed if you didn´t average at least 2 goals per game, but let´s see, if Scotland can´t finish ahead of said teams, they´ve got no business at the World Cup anyway. |
