Back in the days, Nottingham Forest would be my choice. Gary Birtles, John Robertson, Peter Shilton, Chris Woods, Tony Woodcock, Martin O`Neill, Kenny Burns and Stan Bowles? do I need to continue.

Arse. Sorry. As a teen I was the only one of my mates to support QPR so if I wanted to go with them it was Arse, Spuds or Scum if we were away. Highbury was pretty impressive and they had some good players. Great when we played them.

Along with Terry Butcher, Kevin Beattie, John Wark, Mick Mills, George Burley, Trevor Whymark, Paul Mariner, Mick Mills, Frans Thijssen, Alan Brazil, John Wark, Russell Osman. And managed by Bobby Robson of course. What a team.

everton under moyes were a fun side to keep an eye on. never had any money or any real great players aside from maybe tim cahill but they always played well and ground out results.
also liked fulham under hodgeson too. bang average side that took a different approach by signing experienced premier league players like simon davies, aaron hughes, damien duff and bobby zamora. shouldn't have been as effective as they were but their experience meant they rarely let their heads drop and it even got them to a uefa cup final.
coventry too lol. its hard to believe that they were in the top flight for what ... 35 years?? never did anything at all but always stuck about.

United was great to watch when Gordon Hill, Stuart Pearson, Jimmy Greenhoff and Steve Coppel formed their forward line. Alex Stepney was a solid keeper, and the error prone Paddy Roche was their not so great reserve keeper irc.

Brian Greenhoff (Jimmy's brother) and Martin Buchan the captain.

Arsenal for me as well. My best mate through infant school was Arsenal and my lifelong mate is an Arsenal fan so used to follow their results.
Inter Milan as well, purely as they were my team on FM growing up! Used to holiday in Italy as a kid so I would go to the markets and get cheap knock off shirts.

Fergie's early 90's team with Giggs and Sharpe in it were great to watch. Liked the 84/85 Everton team as well.

I seem to fluctuate in teams I have a soft spot for, depending on their style of play, who's managing them, their owners and so on.
Wenger's early Arsenal side, Klopp's Liverpool, Holloway's Blackpool and Plymouth. Dyche's Burnley - just for their sheer tenacity.
Deeply ingrained dislike of Leeds and West Ham, but find myself almost quite liking them with Bielsa and Moyes in charge.
Have to say I have a grudging respect for Brentford, who have have been doing things pretty well on all fronts in recent years.
Being brought up in SE London, I always have a soft spot for Charlton and Palace, teams I used to go and see regularly with school friends, before being bitten by the QPR bug.

If i wasn`t Rangers ,i`d have ended up as Palace . Thank fuck for that Dad ( RIP)
