Very early, I know but a Fulham mate asked me about it.
How do you find out your loyalty points? It's very unlikely I will have enough to get to the game so will probably end up at the pub. But how do you actually see the points, our website is rubbish.

Unpopular for some but this loyalty points nonsense needs to go.
Same old faces week in week out. Where are the opportunities for new / young fans to go to away games?
Before anyone has a pop, I go to 99% of games home and away so it’s not an issue for me but I think the system is outdated and flawed.
You went to Grimsby away on a Tuesday night. Woopy fucking do.

Couldn't disagree more. Why should someone who has not been to a game in 5 years because his gf doesn't like him going out, suddenly get priority over someone who travels up and down the country?
It means I miss out, but it's fair enough. I am a ST holder and have been for a few years now but those who go more often should absolutely get first pick for the games like this.

So, a fan that is maybe not as well off as you, not as active as you, doesn’t have as much free time as you, wants to bring his kid for the first time should not get the chance? Sorry but very arrogant in my book. If I go to buy a ticket and someone has bought one before me it’s tough shit. I don’t cry about it. There is a lot of arrogance and sense of entitlement with some of our fans. I’ve been going for 37 years missing a handful of games a season home and away and I don’t think I’m anymore entitled to a ticket than the next man. That’s the difference between you and me mate. You will get a ticket by having loyalty points which then increases your loyalty points yet again. How is that a fair system when we are a club who are supposedly trying to build our fan base and encourage new and younger fans to support us in the hope we get a new stadium in the future?

So someone who goes to every game, doesn't get to the fa cup final because thousands of day trippers get a ticket first. Would that be fair? People who are going as QPR are their second team, or just going for a piss up with mates, get in first and don't have any affection to QPR, would that be fair? Nothing to do with being self entitled, I am not well off myself and certainly don't splash the cash. I am not more or less of a fan than someone who is able enough to go to every game but I totally understand why they should get first refusal. If you want to take your kid to a game, go to a home game, or a less 'glamorous' tie. We don't exactly travel well, so it's not hard.

i think ticketing is a difficult one and theres a fine line with fairness. both argument make perfect sense, loyal and regular fans should come first as they're the ones who pour the most money into the club so deserve to get first option on tickets.
the way the club does it now is fair imo, 70% of tickets are reserved for ST holders during the early bird window and the other 30% goes on general sale with any tickets unsold from the early bird window going towards general sale too.

Piss up with mates? Go to a home game? Exactly my point. Arrogant. I see myself as a fair person. I can see what kind of person you are and that’s cool. Agree to disagree. Me personally, I think it’s an outdated system and when the club struggle to attract more fans, younger generation especially they need to take a close look at themselves. By the way, I gave my Bournemouth away ticket to a friends 74 year old dad who’s been ill for almost a year because he really wanted to go and see Rangers on the road again as he’s done since the 1950’s. Hasn’t been to a home game this season due to his bad health. You must be furious he was there. Anyway good luck to ya mate.

I was using a situation that's unlikely to happen but it could with your theory. Why would I be furious? There are fans who go long before me and I've never once said that they don't deserve to go, quite the opposite. I disagree with your theory that it should always be a free for all. Doesn't make me arrogant right or wrong. Call me arrogant all you like if you think that helps your argument.

Think the way they do it now is about right , I sacrificed other things so I could get myself and kids STs every season, now kids grown up I leave it to them if they want to come . They can always pay on the day at home. If u ask Around there is always someone that will lend you their loyalty points . Fulham could be a problem to some as they've cut capacity whilst new stand being built... Think most clubs go the LP route as it says what it does rewards loyalty

I am not sure how you can do it much fairer than a loyalty scheme to be honest. I think that is what most clubs do. This has not been much of an issue for us until Reading the other day.
