True but there is a trend for young Scottish players to head South or go abroad to get a better football "education", even when the Old Firm are interested, Billy Gimour being an example, but there are others.

Any other CM`s we could go for if Stefan Johansen doesn`t come to us? Lewis Ferguson reminds me of Stefan Johansen, he's still young though and probably not up to running QPR's midfield yet. another season or two and hell be ready. Glasgow Rangers seem to be interested in him, rumours of Watford too. he put in Transfer request last week which was rejected |

I think he’s now become a championship player for no other reason then I’m unsure any prem clubs would come in for him given recent injury record but Wiltshire has been released by Bournemouth and is in the mould of Johansen. Possibly unrealistic at this stage but if not tied up closer the season comes possibly worth a thought

It’s prob none flyer but similar to Johansen and there would be no transfer fee involved He prob still sees himself as prem player but a season getting knocked about and staying fit, as you suggest, might do him some good |

Just checked him out Westy. 30 league appearances in the last 3 seasons. We're too shrewd in the transfer market these days to sign that sort of player, unless of course he's prepared to accept a reasonably modest salary.

A friends daughter has had total renal failure and now has 1 of her Grandmother's kidneys. It's a life changer. She's on anti-rejection drugs and all sorts. |
