fulham were the better side simple as. we all expect fulham to be right up there at the end of the season and they showed why.
ball never should have started this game and i feel that amos could have given us more of an edge had he started.
desparately need a new RWB thats for sure.

They have a good manager too, which always helps. These Portuguese coaches are tactically astute.

It`s a pity that we sold Kane. Don't see many agreeing with this stance. Marginally better than our current 2 RWB's but an utter wanker of a man. My stance nontheless. They could have sorted the issues our with his teammates instead of sacking him. Anyway, it`s all history now...

Still can’t be too disheartened, never win against Fulham. And work and cash is fucking amazing if you in the construction trade at moment 🍾

I don't care if it weakened the squad ousting him, it was 100% the right decision.

Better side won. Don’t think it was a 4-1 but can’t complain This is the problem when you defend like amateurs against a side with genuine Premier League quality up front. You get battered. Agree about the defending but none of those fuckers are genuine premier league quality. Until we sort out the right hand side we will carry on getting tonked

A word for Dykes’ goal in amongst all the gloom - great ball from Willock and well taken. He does have a lot to learn about the game still. Just before their second he was running on to goal with the ball and got caught easily by defender, slow down, tangle legs and we get a free kick instead of hit on the counter. Charlie does it all the time.

Dykes took his goal well and Willocks ball was fantastic. Poor defending will hurt us and never allow us to progress

Our problem is a lack of pace all over the pitch. The possession play counters this but NOT when a team employs a high (and energetic) press against us. MW has done well to get a system that suits the players he has but when we are faced with the press like yesterday an original criticism of no plan B comes up again. What happened when Mitrovic closed down Dieng and his options left and right were also shut off? He launched it and it came straight back. So if they stop us playing the way we want - they’re doing their fucking job - find a different way. That’s when it’s not just the eleven on the pitch.

Forgive me for seing this match and it`s result in a somewhat broader contest, but to be honest I think that we should appreciate the fact that we are QPR and not Bury, Wigan, or even Newcastle for that matter. We are in a relatively good shape economically so In the end I think we will find a way to the land of defeats, draws and (perhaps) the odd victory.

It looked like we were not at the races at all last night. Not sure why that happens so often against Fulham etc, but imo we definitly need a plan B now as It was Silva who responded best after conceding the 1-1 goal last night. Maybe we should have gone for a diamond formation with more depth against Fulham? I would also have liked to see Kakay playing instead of Moses. Moses needs a rest now. He tend to forget his defensive duties to often. His distribution does also leave a lot to be desired. Not saying Kakay is much better, but he deserves a chance.

Roasted at right back all day yesterday....proper done us there. Made Wilson look like fucking Ronaldo.
Overall, no protection for the defence meant we were overrun time and time again. Hindsight is wonderful but Warbs was too arrogant going in that formation away from home against arguably the best attacking side in the division.
Hate Fulham with a a passion and thought we might nick something at 1-1 but imploded as we usually do down there.
Dust ourselves off, keep going and hopefully we can beat them at home.

Agree that Ball shouldn't have played this. He is very committed but Fulham aren't an aggressive team, so having someone better on the ball like Amos would have been the better play. Ball came onto the ball a few times and had a shocking first touch and then we were in trouble again. He runs around a lot, which actually leaves us open depsite the fact he is a defensive player.
Obvious from the 1st 10 minutes that it was going to be a long game. We stood off the players so much, we were scared to stick a foot in. Mitro needed clattering early doors, but we sat off and let him build his confidence.
We need a better RWB in January. Moses is better than Kakay but not great. We need a LWB as well, as we have 2 that are injury prone.
I like Johansen, but fuck me, what on earth was he doing in the tunnel before kick off? Who know's if it impacts how he plays, but hugging, kissing and laughing with everyone doesn't get you in the right mindset surely. He fouled someone and was then laughing with him on the pitch. Really annoyed me and I didn't like seeing that from the captain. Save it for after the game.

Going to one in the middle, the underperforming Stefan, on a booking, didn't help combat Fulham's total midfield dominance.

This should have been a match with Dozzell and Stefan Johansen in midfield imo. With one of them sitting in front of the defence.

doesn't really bother me that stef was all buddy buddy with the fulham players. he spent 5 good years there and no doubt made some good friends.
stef is a model pro and i don't think anyone can question his professionalism. i doubt that he purposefully underperformed in the game to give fulham the edge.
its one of those things, probably shouldn't have done it but its not really a big deal imo.
