What makes you say that bill? No where has it been mentioned it’s been even contemplated? I’ll be gutted to leave w12, it’s all I’ve ever known but the answer is yes so long as the club don’t do a mk dons disappearing act I’ll always go. My guess is the club are backing the council into a corner

That would be a disaster. Agree but Watch this space. We’ve already been warned they are looking outside the borough - we own it and nobody near to object - 27 acres when a pitch is 1.5 and a reasonable stadium is what…4…4.5? They could be playing same game as this government, put it out there as info/possibility/ consideration then wham, it happens.

And if you don’t think it stacks up Man City has got 16 pitches, a 7 thousand capacity second stadium and an indoor training centre for first team on 80 acres.

My guess is the club are backing the council into a corner Already own thw land, cheapest option, planning probably no problem, logical, good motorway link, room for a car park or some houses and in a money orientated world a no brainer. Also heathrow on the doorstep for our future european success.

Also heathrow on the doorstep for our future european success. its not that simple though. even though we own the land we can't just build whatever we want on it and still have to have planning permission for anything we want to build. the council probably won't allow a stadium there.
