Already own thw land,cheapest option,planning probably no problem,logical,good motorway link,room for a car park or some houses and in a money orientated world a no brainer. Also heathrow on the doorstep for our future european success. its not that simple though. even though we own the land we can't just build whatever we want on it and still have to have planning permission for anything we want to build. the council probably won't allow a stadium there. As i know the area very well another development of houses will not bea problem. I dont think Hounslow council would object as Cranford park close by loads of green space. Also the income from all concernrd would be good. I can see them rubbing their hands together now. Another advertising plus just off the flight path of LHR main runway. |

Brentford used to have KLM plastered across the roof of one of their stands targeting people flying overhead. If we go down that road we really have regressed. Moving to Heston would be a complete sell out, thank Christ it’s not likely to happen. |

Couldn’t see us developing the whole site like that Bill, we need the other facilities too, not just a stadium. The only income from the project would be selling LR and future commercial use of the stadium. Still hope it’s Linford Christie.

Went Cargiant yesterday and the place was like a ghost town. They had virtually no cars, thought place had been robbed the night before they had that little.
Got me thinking are they struggling or trying run stock down to relocate.
I wonder if the owners have made any efforts to reach out professionally to land owners and see if any change in position from the last car crash effort by beard.
Was very strange there yesterday more then half site was locked off really looked like it was closing down.
