Not much time left to do business now... I think we've been working on deals for a couple of offensively minded players for a few weeks now Shania.

Prem interest in Dykes? If that’s true and it’s why he turned up yesterday that is just taking the piss. Hope he’s better than that. Did cross my mind if maybe there was a scout at the game yesterday mate! 😂

Ditto Rob Dickie, although I'd think it would be unlikely that De Wijs would have gone out on loan if there was genuine interest in Dickie. EPL interest in Dickie makes no sense when you look at the form of Dunne by comparison. Don't think there genuinely is Prem interest mate. Like I said above, wouldn't have shifted on a centre half yesterday if there was.

Burnley close to buying a striker from the Bundesliga so Dykes unlikely to go there.
Reports are Swansea want 750k for Patrerson but our two offers were dimissed as derisory, so must be really low.
Suggests we really have very little money indeed.

When push comes to shove, Swansea will likely take the best offer on the table tomorrow. The player is forcing a move away, I don't think he's been available for selection for a good few weeks now.

Yeah some truth in that, its a game of chicken. Equally they will know we badly need a player like him (they saw that when we played them!). We will prob have to go up a bit and they will have to come down as they apparently also need some bunce to buy a target of their own. For me its an important signing as we need someone else who can change a game coming off the bench. Think we are fairly well served for out and out strikers but we could do with a right sided attacking midfield player.

Mate, he ain't gonna play for them. He has 6 months left on his deal and if he plays another couple of games a 1 year extension is triggered. I think the whole scenario has come about cos the player expected a pay rise on extension and Swansea don't wanna give him one.
Swansea will have to sell him tomorrow. Otherwise pay his salary for 6 months only for him to walk on a free.

According to the Swansea manager the contract extension has already been triggered. There was a piece in the Mail (clearly briefed by Paterson or his agent) saying that he had been verbally promised a pay rise but it didn't happen and he is one of the worst paid in their squad. So if that's true about the contract extension he is their player to do what they want with - but I do largely agree that the reality is they can't afford to leave him rotting in the reserves.

Strange one that. He was meant to play 25 games prior to the 1 year extension. How is possible he could extend early on a salary lower than he expected?
Sounds like his agent has made a pig's ear of something if that's been able to happen.
You're right though. If he's actually now got 18 months on his deal then Swansea could play hardball.

See Burnley have signed Wout Weghorst from Wolfsburg, so Dykes staying put I would have thought.

Will there be anyone left to buy or loan after Newcastle and Bournemouth finish?

Big signing for Bournemouth is Kieffer Moore. Him and Solanke up front the rest of the season.

It's hard to imagine why the 14th highest scorer in the Championship would be attracting genuine PL interest. Can only assume it's down to sporadic and not too thorough scouting. If you'd been shown a highlight reel for Dykes and then attended Saturdays game, you could see how a side with pressure to sign someone before transfer deadline could convince themselves he's worth a punt. To be honest, if a side back themselves to get the best out of him, he could be worth a punt. If he played like he did Saturday every week he'd get goals at pretty much any level in my opinion.

Cantwell from Norwich close to signing for Bournemouth. Signings like this makes me thinks that either they will soon be out of reach or we have to bring in a few top quality loans today.

Lawrence from Derby not going anywhere - Rooney said last night on sky sports.
Still think we have a good squad to go forward for the rest of the season.
Amos hitting a bit of form / Field starting to hit form / Johannson well rested / Chair well rested / Dykes now scoring / Additional Centre Back in
Just need 1no major loan in to get the mouth watering / Keep Thomas Atm / Keep Dozzell / Keep Dom Ball look at it at the end of the season.
Good squad players if injuries occur ,
Think Bournmouth are just panic buying as they know that if we win our game in hand we go second
The Qpr momentum is building every game , every away day game its there to see and it is a force when in comes like no other fans
Because are fans are desperate for success like no other club.
Soon the ground at hq will be sold out every game / 4k supporters every away game
Its coming home to W12 you wait and see.
May the force be with you.

Agree our squad looks good on paper but we do need someone else for Willock/Chair. Patterson, I am surprised that Swansea don't want a small fee now but then want £2m or something if we get promoted.

Wages have to be considered "safe" according to our budget of course.

With three games a week, we definetly need a player or two in. Imagine Willock getting injured? What do we do then? And breathe...

That`s true, but we need a third player with X-factor. Imo. Could even have brought in a player from abroad.
