Johansen is getting picked purely on last seasons reputation. Field and Stefan offer no creativity and appear static, with both sitting too deep.

Dozzell did a lot better than Field when he came on yesterday. Either he or Amos should start.

Gray is our most clinical finisher so dunno why he's not starting too.

Albert more of a wing threat than Kakay, so ditto there.

Makes too many mistakes. Tries hard but not good enough.

If only Duke-McKenna could get a chance... Not sure what his main position is but anyway, we need to mix things up a little now.

Let's hope we're not in for the reverse of last season's season of two halves!

Agree with this too. I'd at least have him coming off the bench more frequently. Looks lively!

agree on ball, limited and has errors in him but does give us a bit of solidity and steel in midfield. think amos is due a start too though as he's a more rounded ball imo.

don't agree on wallace, he's experienced and links up well with chair and willock (who love playing with him) and always has a great low cross in him. not to mention we always look better with him in the side

Think we got out the spending game at the right time and few clubs such as city are going face points deductions next few seasons. I hope we hold our nerves and don’t go flashing cash this Jan as with finances at other clubs if we don’t go up this season we could still be in very strong position next few seasons

Just to add to that, I think Wallace will need more rest time and you need to have attacking wing backs. Willock offered next to nothing last game so a spot on the wing could be good for him.


Wouldn't start Ball. He runs around too much (sounds weird, but keep reading) and leaves more space in behind, which is the opposite of what we need. Need someone to sit, pass the ball on and then offer proection, making it hard to reach the front men.
