With a few players having arguably their worst game of the season that’s 3 bonus points. Willock was poor (for a change), Dickie bloody awful and even Albert, who went missing every time Brizzle attacked. Great pen but nothing else from Charlie and the fantastic header from Barbet saved his night. Great turnout by the fans.

If we could mix the "playing out from the back" system a bit in matches like last night where they pressed us so hard from the start, I`m sure we could surprise a few teams. Mind you, after all football is all about finding ways to surprise the opposition. Make no mistake about it, I`m obviously pleased with the three points, but we rode our luck on more than one occation against a very fit, well prepared and aggressive Bristol City outfit.

What’s the moaning old cunt Pearson going on about in his interview 🍋 I’d have wanted their penalty claim but can’t think of much else. Their time wasting cost them. Handball leading up to our corner is a big thing. Plus the amount of 50/50 we got. Watching it, I agree with them! Think Stroud when we play, and this was their version of that. |

Not sure about there shout for a pen Dunne definitely got the ball going by the replay. Sure, there was contact but he got the ball first or simultaneously. Pring made no contact with Amos at all and was just a rash and needless challenge. So the two are incomparable imo. |
