I said on Sunday Dom Ball should have played as he would got stuck in and would have given us some much needed strngth in the middle of the park. When you are on the run we are on then do the dirty side well and then think about playing. Too many not doing their jobs properly

I went last night but I didn't want to message straight after.

That was an awful performance, from everyone. Players, Warbs and to be honest, even us fans that went.

Players:
We lacked any sort of intensity. We let a long ball team, with fuck all to play for, knock it around for fun on the deck and we got no where near it. No one put a foot and let them know we were there. Gave them all the time and space in the world. If I were a neutral, I would have thought that we were the team in 15th or whatever it was.

With the ball, no one actually wanted it. No movement at all, and everyone was happy for it to go to the CBs and then not move for them. Resulting in either a pass into trouble or a punt up field for Dykes to try and do something with. Wallace or Adomah didn't have the legs to offer an outball and when Moses came on, he looks totally shot of confidence and was way too deep to offer any sort of outball. I have said many times that wing backs only work when the wing backs want to be the out ball and last night they didn't. Far too deep, more like LB and RB rather than offering anything.

But then the midfielders weren't exactly showing for the ball and wanting it. All of Willock, Chair, Field and Johansen were left standing still and doing nothing with it. You can only play good passing if people move. No one can create something if there is no movement. No movement = no creativity. You can do a through ball if the receiver isn't already running. You can't do 1 - 2s if the person doesn't carry his run on, it's pretty basic but we did nothing.

I am not a lover of Dykes but he had no hope out there. But, neither would Gray or Austin or anyone else, as we have no service. I see people saying we should have bought a striker. Why? If we play like that, they won't get the service. We needed better/mobile wing backs.


Warbs:
Go 2-0 down and we keep 3 cb on the pitch? Why? Change the formation, take off one of the CBs, bring on a striker and play 4 at the back. I saw in his interview saying that he couldn't take Chair off as it's defensive but it's more defensive keeping 3 CBs on! It wasn't working at 0-0, 1-0 and certainly not at 2-0.


Fans:
Not knocking those who paid good money to watch that shit. I just thought we were very quiet. Most of the singing was at half time in the concorse or getting into the ground. Hard to get excited when we are being dominated, I just thought we could have been better ourselves.
