Last season I would have described Johansen best position as a deep lying midfielder that finds space and intelligently links play out from defence,rather than be someone that gets into more advanced areas.

This season in less than a handful of games has he reproduced his previous form and it’s very noticeable that’s it’s been during the second half of games when the pace drops.

People need to smarten up and realise that staying in this division and spending no money at all would still be massively unsustainable.

I think the board fucked up again, and I think the paltry sums that were spent were uselessly frittered away on the wrong personnel.

Then again, we shouldn't be too surprised since we appointed a dof with literally no experience at all and have consistently looked away from managers at a lower level who have ended up in the prem.

i think stef and field don't play well together tbh. they both play in a similar position even though they're different types of players. field is an anchor type player that doesn't do well linking up with our AM's and stef has just been underpar.

really think amos needs to start more, good on the ball and gets all over the pitch which is something we've really been lacking imo

He defended the players very well 77 and so he should,reality kicks in when he talks about table position and what budget he’s working on.

Good to see him showing some emotion and spitting feathers at some direct questions posed to him for a change.

Problem is we can all talk a good game. 

Actions speak louder than words and I think he's made plenty of poor calls, and been slow to react on other occasions.

Think we are going round in circles with this striker debate. We have three fairly average strikers, one not very good, one fat and passed it and the other lazy and disinterested. We can rotate them every game but if they don't get any service they aren't going to score goals.

Get Ball in there with Amos and Dozzell to give us a bit of legs and balance. Ball is limited but you can always rely on him putting a shit in and not bottle any 50/50'. Drop Chair Field and Johanssen. Give Dykes 45 mins with Amos running off him and hope they click like the Reading game.
