Willock with two assists, uncle bombing up and down the wing, Jimmy dunne commanding the defence all game, even dickie with a few ropey moments still produced 3 wonderful last ditch tackles.
Got to give it to Marshall though, what a brilliant display from him. Saved me very thing barring that one wonder strike.

Has to be us the fans fucking mental. My choice too. Uncle closest thing to a fan on that poll, so went for him. His goal, clearance and commitment played some part as well  Marshall, Willock, Dunne and Field with immense performances too. |

went for field. thought he bossed the middle of the park well and was involved in every aspect of the game.
think he largely went unnoticed yesterday as he's not a flashy player but he covered every inch of that pitch!

Albert for me.
He was the one in the first half who actually tried to get hold of the ball rather than treat it like a hot potato.
The clearance he made in front of Marshall throwing his body in the way was like an old-school centre half.
Put several very good crosses in and chased everything
Above all for the winner - how many players in the league could be pinned back in their own half playing virtually as a right back and then get into the six yard box and head home a centre-forward's winner?
