Who does he replace? What is his actual position. If you can’t nail down a position your Always going be nearly man. I like him but at same time can’t tell you why as I’m not sure I’ve seen him excel or stand out doing anything in any games I’ve seen him.
Would not have minded seeing him trialed RB

I’ve seen SDM for U23 played as a right winger/number 10, also takes set pieces.Also think De Silva looks more likely to be able to compete for MF position in first team over SDM.

Cannot understand how he’s not in and around the first team with the style of players we have. Defo offers a different dimension to pretty much all other midfielders.

Grim stats but I do think from the small amount of time I've seen him that he is a good player also wa s injured. Be interesting to see how he performs regularly for our B team which I think we'll be utilising heavily next season. |

worrying that none of our fringe players seem to impress even in lower leagues. Surely they have to be ripping it up in a lower division to compete for a first team place with us?

Because he's got a quick turn of pace and is quite agile I always think players like that can make something happen but again unless they get a run with better players around them we'll never know! |

He got a 1 year contract extension today and that`s good news imo. Obviously lost his way a bit out on loan, but I liked what I saw from him two seasons ago. Fwiw, He may lack a bit self belief now.

Looked fairly positive in the little cameos he had a couple seasons back (League Cup games from memory) - be interesting to see how he fairs with some real game time.
