Now as this site is turning into a care home, I propose a sub section for the coffin dodgers.
Now hear me out( obviously if u can hear), I think it only fair as the poor old knocking on deaths door mob are not as with it as say 90 years ago when they was in the 50s. The poor old sods think of a reply to a thread, start typing their line and take soooooo long it’s 2 days later and four pages on.
Think of our old, give them a section. Call it the dead zone. Because most of us will be by the time they reply🥳

Bill, in the East the elderly are revered. I think we should take a leaf out of that culture personally, as in the West it's often quite the opposite.
'Older and wiser' as the saying goes. Although of course that's not always the case, as sometimes it's more like 'older and grumpier'.

I go walking every Tuesday with a group called the Grumpies, bus pass and senior railcard to hand.Sometimes 25 of us after the wslk into Wetherspoons and then back to the care home Eldest is 93 so its not all bad. Also its amszing what you can get away with when your decrepid like us. We do have a good laugh though so something for you anklebiters to look forward to. But wait,your age dont do walking😄 |
