Are we too harsh on our strikers and the team generally?

Our 2010 promotion year had Helguson as our target man, not prolific or a 20 goal a season man, but a great player for us. The other rag back strikers Warno brought in were a lot worse than our current strikers IMHO.
But that season we were all about Adel. And this season we are all about Illy and Willy. Rangers have traditionally been a team far more about number 10s than number 9s (with apologies to Rodney and Les).
We don't have a Mitrovic or a Brereton but lets get behind the strikers we do have.
Yes I agree they badly need to work on their hold up play. But I have seen plenty of fans of other clubs saying how spoilt we are having Dykes, Austin and Gray. It was only a couple of years ago we were relying on Seb Polter.
Sure, I would love to have a striker like the clubs with £100m in parachute payments, but we don't, and we can't now, so lets get over it.
Blackburn don't have a Chair or a Willock. Or an Amos or a Dunne to score, which is why we are third highest scorers in the division and they couldn't score last night.
And now Brereton is out (thank god) for 10 games, which just shows the danger of putting all your eggs in the basket of one brilliant striker.
We spread the goals and creativity around the team. We did well without Chair, but he came back and scored twice in a couple of games and played a difficult role really well last night.
Albert and Mosses are back on form and having two firing wing backs is crucial to the way we play.
There is not a fan of any club in the world that doesn't think its a national disgrace that their owners haven't bought this or that player (because money is never an object when it isn't your own). Look at Spurs, and they could qualify for the Champions League!
Now really is the time to stop the moaning.
As a fanbase lets use the impetus of last night's win as a turning point. Like so often this season we dug deep and scored a late, late winner. You can't bottle that spirit.
The keyboard warriors (not here but on Twitter) have been attacking Charlie (and even his wife FFS) and then, despite the win, Sanderson (some of the comments I've read he might as well have been convicted of child rape - how does any of that help?).
Now these "fans" really need to take a deep breath and think:
If you can't enjoy this time supporting the club, when can you?
Time to recreate that January spirit.
URRRRRRRRRs!

- We won
- It was a brilliant night
- We are third in the league
- We travel to Blackburn at the best possible time with positivity back in the camp
