The History of QPR Authors name escapes me atm.
I have a copy where if you ordered early your name appeared in the front pages of the book.
My copy has signatures of managers and players from Brian Bedford days through to Les Ferdinand and a promising youngster Michael Rutherford.

Here's an unexpected one: The Cutting Edge by Leslie Cavendish. Cavendish ended up becoming the Beatles' hairdresser and was very much involved with Apple records, the Magical Mystery Tour and so on, but what's relevant here is that he was (and is) a big QPR fan, and QPR get plenty of mentions in the book. It's a great read, with some fascinating insights into the private lives of the Beatles and the era. And also, I get a mention at the back!

The Robert Elms books are a good read and always lots of QPR mentions.
On the Stan Bowles one, I got him to sign mine when I did the stadium tour and he helped show us round about 10-15 years ago. Was fantastic chatting to him. He asked where I had bought it and when I told him e-bay he laughed and said Bradley Orr had borrowed his copy and hadn't retuned it. I told him there were still a couple of copies for sale on e-bay and we joked about him buying his own book like Fly Fishing by J R Hartley. I was quite chuffed to make my idol laugh to be honest.

If anyone is trawling eBay one to avoid is The History of QPR by Mark Shaoul c1991 - AKUTRs did a review of it and ripped it to bits for factual errors and biased opinion. QPR the complete record by Gordon Macey (to 2010) is great, but obviously not up to date.
