By any stretch of the imagination. Been found out since January and results show it. Three successive home defeats. When pushing for promotion. Slow, old, heavily dependent on Willock, piss poor in midfield, toothless up front. Dreadful all round. Back to the drawing board.

Just looked and in over 1000 minutes of league football since reading we’ve hit the target 31 times, scored 10 goals and picked up 8 points out of 33. That, is fucking embarrassing

May come out rambling but here goes. We are where we are due to basically bad running of club. There’s been some huge clubs compared to us whom have struggled for countless years to get into or back to prem. Owner after owner have wasted chance upon chance to move the club to eventually up revenue and actually look like a modern day club. Land values have gone up and up whilst owners have been happy to sit in a shed and moan about ffp restrictions. And the 2 chances we got , which at time we could of established ourselves genuinely we blew. Now I fear the football ship has sailed and past us by. I mean even clubs whom we considered to be crap to us are in or getting new grounds, Bford, Luton and the first mentioned is absolutely years ahead of us now. Face it we should be greatful to be a mid table championship side.

Face it we should be greatful to be a mid table championship side. This. The really bad thing is that is that if MW gets sacked (as imo he genuinely should be) we're in the hands of them upstairs and Les.... christ. Said it before, I think the board are quite happy as long as we don't slide out of this division. I think that's incredibly short sighted as like all EFL sides* we run at a loss. *except the parachute regiment

We definitely blew our two chances but we are much more mature now. Overall we are in a good position. Keep on building our club and do not make any stupid short term managerial changes!

But what are we building? If we carry on building the way we’ve been building since Jan we’ll be in trouble by the World Cup. Building is fine as long as you don’t take it apart again- and he did. And builders who consistently lose money build nothing.

We ain't building anything. Tired ideas. Been found out, and once again we have zero plan B.

We have brought in some very good and promising players at a very low cost. Dieng, Dunne, Willock,Thomas etc. That's building. Really disappointed you haven't learned anything from our short term thinking.

No complaints on recruitment from me. It's the lack of ideas on the pitch that is the problem.

Injuries and knocks may have had bigger influence what we think. I would definitely give him next summer to solve our problems on the pitch. This season is lost anyway.

Really disappointed you haven't learned anything from our short term thinking. Since Jan we’ve knocked it down. Current form is relegation form. We’ll need to sell at least one decent player, probably more than one as values will have dropped if being watched recently. Let’s see what we’ve built by next Dec. Point has been made that we blew our big chance twice - I’d make that three times.

Blaming injuries is such an easy out. Bottom line is we are 1 dimensional and we've been found out.
Today is a classic example. Trying to play expansive football against a far better footballing side. Was never gonna work. What we should have done is roughed them up a bit. That might have worked.

Think we were pretty even at least first half. Mitrovic too good for us. And maybe Wilson. No reason to shame or downgrade our performance.

Must have been someone else than Warburton.

We’re told often enough that the table doesn’t lie. Well, we had the points and two games in hand. That means we were good enough in comparison to our rivals. That’s the league.

And who took us there? Would you prefer fighting against the relegation like we did for 4-5 seasons? I'm afraid that's where we would still be without Warburton.

Deserves massive credit for moving us on and away from relegation fodder but just because we’ve moved up a level doesn’t mean we need to stand still and just be happy with it. Steadied the ship and turned it round but ask Brentford fans, ask rangers fans and ask forest fans. He is a very stubborn man, his refusal of a forward in January has cost us. His insistence on changing a winning side has cost us. I like warburton but I get the impression he hasn’t got the killer instinct and personally I feel we won’t go up with him at the wheel.

This is where rewriting history comes in. We were heading for a relegation fight under Warburton just over a year ago when we couldn’t buy a win and Dykes had no idea what that thing with a net was for months. The CLUB saved his neck by bringing in Johansen and Austin rather than change another manager. He nearly fucked us up and he could easily do it again if the last few weeks are anything to go by. He’s not the Messiah, he has previous.

I don't argue he's been our best manager since Warnock. He clearly had been. He's done lots of good things. He's been very good in transfer market. But he's a nearly man. Every time we get our hopes up, he gets found out.
The capitulation since January has been shocking and some of the results and performances, a disgrace. Sorry, but it's time to try something else.

Really disappointing end to the season but we need to be realistic look where we are now compared to last season we have improved but I think that MW does not have a plan B has cost us but we are not ready to go up so could be a good thing we can look to improve again next season my son is the under 18s captain and has been there since he was 7 when we first started there were no facilities and was pretty bad but qpr have done so much behind the scenes and the training ground is coming on so we need to stay positive as the future is bright

How do you define ‘ready to go up’? No one is ready until they get there, then it’s a different ball game. Job is to get there, then decide to spend stupid money or take the riches and build up your club. And if we’d finished this season the way we finished last we’d be well up there. All we’ve got now is to make sure we at least finish above Millwall😁

The club find the players ie the willocks, dickies, dunnes etc. it’s not warburton. He just gives them a position and they back him. I think it’s obvious the dof thought we maybe needed to strengthen up top in Jan. Warbs didn’t and they backed his decision but that does mean the buck stops with him. His decision to not go with a forward and instead to bring in someone like Hendrik to play over our own lads who had done well combined with not getting a forward and changing a winning side by throwing chair back in has cost this club a play off spot. It’s as simple as that.
