Be interesting to compare what happens with us next season and them, should the Bread Man get the job there.

Basket club at the moment. Do they even know who their owners are?
Wish him all the best wherever he goes though. Will happily sing his name again when he returns.

Be interesting to compare what happens with us next season and them, should the Bread Man get the job there. They’ll probably finish higher than us and beat us twice because that’s what seems to happen in football. The rose-tints will be out in force rewriting history and have him lined up to be the next England manager. He’d run his course here, made silly mistakes and we’ll probably never know what the story was behind the scenes. Time to move on and hope we get it right.

Why we talking Mw he gone and fucked up here.

On Sky he just said two big factors were injuries and players not knowing their future. We know he messed it up before the injuries but if the club hasn’t been speaking to players about their futures that’s appalling management and DOFmanship (that’s for you Stanley).

When MW was asked about new contracts not being offered to players earlier in the season his reply was “at least the club are not singling out individuals for contract discussions “ This is no shape or form in defence of the DOF or the board but obviously Austin wages would be high and I would say it’s unlikely that many would disagree with the decision not to extend it. Either way it would have been difficult not to damage team spirit if contract discussions had taken place. I will say again I don’t think Ferdinand is Imperative to our progression as a club.

Think Ferdinands role is to insulate the board from criticism

Looking at the MK Dons forum there appears no real disappointment that Liam Manning will probably leave but a fair number praising their Sporting Director Liam Sweeting.
Reading between the lines his duties align similarly to our DOF.

He loves an excuse. Very rarely does he hold his hands up and admit he got something wrong. Genuinely happy he's going to Brum. Never particularly liked them as a club. New owners with big ambition. You just know it's gonna be a shambles like his short stint at Forest.

Wishing harm on him? 🤣
No mate. Just predicting the inevitable shit show it'll probably be.
Warbs is very good in the transfer market and I think that gets him out of a lot of bother. Tactically he's poor, and always has been. Only knows how to play 1 way. Great when it goes well, but that never lasts long. New owners chucking money at the team up in Brum will see through it pretty quickly.

It has been mentioned before. Warbs would probably make a decent DOF somewhere.

It has been mentioned before. Warbs would probably make a decent DOF somewhere. Thats the last job I’d give him. You have to let managers manage in any job or friction builds and you get a toxic atmosphere. Can’t ever see him resisting the urge to stick his oar in, he’s always right.

refreshing to hear some criticism of our departing manager. On other social networks you'd think we'd lost someone on par with Shankley or Fergie
