He can go, but pay up in one hit. If they can’t and he so confident in himself he can pay it. Put his money where his big mouth is.

I hope we give GR the chance to pay the compentation fee in installments. No chance make them pay up front and get rid of him

Right though. Cannot do interviews as he did 5 week ago and expect the club, fans and players to be happy. Classless by him and that toerag of a so called institution. I did like the bit where he was described as a vulture

So as I understand it, we can only give permission for them to speak to him if they first commit to paying the £1.5m release clause, if they then decide to sign him. Is that how it works? All a bit confusing.

If he stays I will never ever see a match on QPR+ with him in charge again.

Amazing to think a month ago we were sat on top of the league, without a care in the world, playing superb football and a bright rest of the season to look forward to. So QPR isn't it mate

All a bit confusing. we can grant them permission to talk to mick eel even without them triggering his release clause. rangers would know all about his release clause and would know our stance on it. its only if they commit to hiring him that they have to pay compensation.

[ br]So QPR isn't it mate It is but on this occasion wwe cannot blame the club. We need to draw a line on this and prepare for Burnley with a squad and manager that are fully committed to the club.

Thanks Corbs. As I thought. Thing is we don’t actually know for certain if a) they’ve asked for permission or b) we’ve granted it - other than press reports, some of which contradict each other over this e.g. talkSPORT vs Telegraph.

I wonder if Ferdinands statement could have been a legal mistake which would effect the release clause?

There is a train of thought that loyalty in fb don’t happen. Read some said he could get the sack after four defeats here. But I say wouldn’t happen if you do your job properly would it!

I'm just wondering what's causing the delay? So guessing either they've not requested permission, we've not granted it, or they're now arguing over the release clause details.

They do not have the money. Been handled poorly by them and their potential new manager and that is why he needs moving. 2 times in six weeks is not acceptable

Agreed Sparks. Normally in situations where there is intense media speculation around the club we put out a statement giving some clarity. The fact they haven't points more towards there's truth in it and it's just in the negotiation stage. Trouble is it sounds like negotiations have stalled, leaving all parties in limbo. And in such circs normally gardening leave is the only remaining option.

Just been on the GR fans forum they are also not overwhelmed about Mick Beale coming as their new manager
Saying he has lost 8 games already and is a complete risk
Ha ha plot thickens
We wanted him to stay / They don’t really want him lol
