That's what I don't get about him clearly seeing this as some mega job. Is it the Champions League? But is that much fun being shat on by clubs who could be a good couple of domestic divisions above you? Is it the fan base? Just seems such a dull, uncompetitive league to me, and living in Glasgow. I'd have been much more tempted by Wolves tbh. Each to their own I guess

This season after 25 years of marriage I have persuaded my wife to come to home games with me (for various reasons other family members I used to go with can no longer come). She used to hate it in SA Rd where I have always sat but since I took her to what she calls "the noisy bit"she had really got into it and enjoyed singing "Micky Beale's blue and white army", while also commenting "he's quite ugly, isn't he?". Not sure she will quite get that we are now some other bloke's blue and white army.

i think i know why he left and it has nothing to do with us or rangers.
london wasn't wet enough for him and as a slippery cunt eel he needs to keep his skin and gills moist so has retreated to a damper climate up north.

It’s a long read I hate reading Clive's articles. Uses about 300 words when 1 would do. Having skimmed that article though, sounds like Beale has wanted out virtually from day one. I knew there was likely gonna be some unexpected stuff come out in the wash about Beales departure but reading he interviewed for the Stoke job is pretty shocking. |
