Was on the naughty step at the time so didn’t attend.watched it in the White Horse.How I got barred from such an establishment that day I just don’t know.

God how I loved that season. And how I miss it now! It seems to have a golden haze around it in my memory, as if it was another age already, a time of glorious highs and hardly any lows and all was right with the world.

Slightly ruined at the time by the Faurlingate though.
I still remember walking past The Green on that last home game against Leeds when the news was announced that there was to be no points deduction. We were all so happy.
