Really like him. He’s 2 games in to dealing with a totally different country and ideas. Good signing Agreed. Much to early to judge. There is room for improvement but the indicators are that will happen. Like him. Looks good, loves a tackle and to get forward. Good start

Laird looks like a very good addition and a huge upgrade on Kakay. Paal will be an upgrade on Wallace too as will be less injury prone. Quality starting to show too as he adapts to a new league and country. One wingback assisting the other for his goal on Tuesday - how great was that to see?!

Starting to really like this player. Against Millwall he didn't manage to get forward much but think played a part in the first goal? What I particularly like is he seems really good in the air. When Millwall were chucking in these high balls like Watford circa 1984 he became like a third centre half heading things away. Millwall obvs targeted him in the air thinking he would be the weak link but he dealt with absolutely everything. After a couple of fairly average early games seems to be getting better and better.

That's what I said in the match thread! Sorry missed it, I’m a repetitive bore 😂 but I entirely agree with you.

I really like him. Always needed a bit of time to get used to things in this league and this country but I think he's a very good player.

Dare we say Beale has improved him? That’s the idea….

Dare we say Beale has improved him? That’s the idea…. Not just him, others too. Look at the improvement in Chair for example! Dozzell too. Even Stef and Field. Not to mention Willock.

Everyone has improved under Beale IMO. This guy has taken things to another level. So glad we've got him.

He’s definitely upped his game from initial performances. Personally think it’s too much to credit the manager at this stage, think more to do with him settling in and adjusting to English style and game.
Still out of position bit too much for my liking but also think I judged him to harshly at the start.

Reports from pre-season told that he was ridiculously good. So Beale must have worsened him but luckily he's back to his normal level now.

Looks vulnerable when opposing players run at him with a trick but that was clear before he arrived.
Our CB pairing have looked uncomfortable at times which has restricted his freedom to get forward more, don’t think we will see his real quality until 3 CBs are selected.

He’s been class last few games.
Unreal spring to get up for headers for such a small lad.
Credit to MB who spotted him as a kid and obviously kept tracks on him.

Had a torrid time first half as he was clearly under instruction to play very narrow which left their right wing back in acres of space and he effectively played as a right winger. But second half Kenny boy came out and absolutely bossed it. Sign of a good player who doesn't disappear when it gets tough. Growing into it more and more.

And now having a head coach who can see what's going wrong and corrects it mid game

Copped some grief lately - and fair enough for his performance against Rotherham - but thought he was exceptional against one of the best wingers in the league on Saturday. Tipping aside an otherwise certain goal early on and then stretching out a leg to stop some of those through balls into the penalty area were outstanding. Was reading somewhere that he is apparently the most attentive player at watching back videos of his performance and asking for feedback from the analytics team. Good to have a player clearly keen to improve.
