lots of potential imo which is clear to see and even yesterday i thought he had a few good passes in him - although he was bad overall. he needs to be brought down to earth a bit as he plays as though he's doing us a huge favour by blessing us with his presense. very lazy and holds onto the ball for far too long. one thing I would not accuse him of is being lazy thought he put shift in yesterday just nothing came off. |

Saturday he went close man on ball but no one backed him up so they just passed round him as they had three at back. Think you need look behind for lack of closing/pressure on this occasion as one man can’t close three players needs help from teammates or he’s wasting his time. |

Was very critical of him for his performance against Stoke but hats off today - really put himself about and worked hard defensively too. Having three “non strikers” up front can be painful sometimes when balls flash across the six yard box and no one is there to tap home but when it works it really works and we could easily have had five or six today

Counter argument would be if they never play it’s overall expensive. |

Nobody gets bought for 500k now. Its either many millions to a premier club (or a club just down from the premier) or they are free. Hardly any other club has a budget for transfers any more. How many championship clubs paid a fee for a player in Jan? Kind of luxury player I could see going abroad to bake his man bun in the sun and go dogging on the beach. One of those self-entitled, lazy players who thinks he is too good to be here and just been hanging around stinking out the place. These are precisely the kind of players we don't want as part of the re-build IMHO.
