Beale's first competitive game, gives him a decent opportunity to see what works and what doesn't. The result is immaterial.

Gonna be honest chaps don’t think result proves a thing win lose or draw.
Pre season game with new manager trying new things etc will have learned more with that result then winning ten nil
Think fans need stop being so doom and gloom about team

Let's agree to disagree lads. I think the most important thing is for Beale to see how individual players perform, what formations work best and so on. The result bothers me not one jot. It's his first competitive game!
By the way, what are we going to call him? MB? Pete? It's a terrible name for nicknames.

Sorry gens don’t agree at all.
If we had won 3-0 does that suddenly mean a great season is ahead??
It’s pre season in a nothing game!! pre season is no more then testing things and building fitness.
We have lost one player of note from last season which is Grey and let’s not forget at the turn of the year people were calling for him to go back to Watford as he was allegedly lazy and bad apple.
The squad as it stands is as strong as it was last season where there was big hope and expectations

I thought results are meaningless in pre-season friendlies. It's just about getting game time, looking at players and trying things out. In that regard would have thought today was a very useful exercise. 1st half was good, 2nd not so good, which would have taught him a lot. Pointless reading any more into it than that I'd have thought. Still plenty of time for more signings, and we've actually signed more players than most other champ clubs so far Think fans need stop being so doom and gloom about team Precisely

Keep it real people.
The whole point of pre season is to try things out, see what works and what doesn't. The changes and 3-3 result tells Mick way more than a 3-0 would.

Fucking hell the number of people on here and social media pissing and moaning about this MEANINGLESS result is a joke 🤣 Same ones were probably creaming themselves over us battering Man Utd last year. Did that result have any bearing whatsoever on our season? Nope. Give your heads a wobble ffs. Pre season has only just started. We're hardly gonna be fully fit and going full pelt this early. And Beale has a lot of work to do finding out what players he sees as regular starters, what tactics work, what signings we might need etc etc etc. Chill out ffs.

Beale said yesterday we've done more business already than most other clubs in the division. Is that true? If so, why the panic stations already? And imagine what fans of other clubs must be like in that case.
The only thing I will concede is that we are definitely a weaker squad without Gray, which I've said all along. Perhaps Tyler is the answer to that though. Time will tell.

If you take the following first team experienced players out of the first team squad you need to replace them with better players we have not done that
Sorry I don’t agree with you guys yes some had injuries but still played a part in the dressing room and on the pitch a lot of the time
Gray Austin Wallace Moses McCallum

Ultimately today's result means absolutely nothing. It will have zero bearing on our season. Every player (I think?) got a run out, no one got injured, Beale will have identified areas to work on, players to have a closer look at, positions to start strengthening etc. Job done. In my opinion of course.

Add another leftsided fullback, or preferably one comfortable in both sides, and perhaps a forward, and the squad should be able to better last year's result.
