Fear watching us at the moment could be a bit like peering from behind the sofa half covering our eyes: with Dykes the only senior out and out striker and Willock injured you wonder where our goals will come from. Not panicking yet as hoping we pick up a young loan striker at the start of the season when Prem clubs settle on their squads but meantime I fear we could make pretty painful viewing and am expecting fan grumbling to build up quite quickly.

If MW was still here as manager I would agree, but he’s not so I’m looking forward to this season with a good degree of optimism.
MW was given £12m to spend during his 3 yr tenure, let’s hope MB is allowed the same.
