Anyone else wondering if Bonne can have a Patrick Agyemang style purple patch this season?
He's got it in his locker. His career has been periods of scoring every week followed by prolonged dry patches.

bonne has lead the line very well so far in preseason and is head and shoulders above dykes in the pecking order. he gets into the right positions, holds up well and draws people to him not to mention he's scored a few.
couldn't help but notice that chair looks better when bonne leads the line. i think its because bonne frees up the space for chair to move about more freely.
paal looked pretty good too. the team feels like its missing something in defence but i can't put my finger on it.

All 3 current CMF being left footed don’t bring good balance.
Can you see any of those 3 breaking regularly from MF to support the attack?

He's meant to be a box-to-box MF. then the midfield 3 should be field, stef and amos with dozzell regularly rotating with and pushing stef for a starting spot. think we need another CM who can cover for amos and field too. maybe we have one in owens but idk how good he actually is, all i know about him is that he's been at the club since we won the league cup. |
