Blackburn got new manager, like us, so could be unpredictable start of season so would not be surprised if we nicked it

Blackburn lost their CB to Boro,and still not found a replacement, Bradley Dack is still not fully fit to play 90mins.
Away win with Taylor Richards to continue his remarkable goal scoring record at Ewood Park.
Their forum has been in meltdown over the summer, possible relegation candidate imo.

I’m prepared for a loss by a couple of goals as even against crap teams in pre season we have been conceding and we have very little up front to make up for it. So anything other than a defeat would leave me surprised and v happy. Am not anything like as optimistic as I was this time last year alas.

if amos is fit to start then i'd have him over dozzell.

THink we'll struggle first 3 games. I don't think the level of opp we played in pre season has done us much good and not many players have 90 minutes under their belt.
Hopefully we will get another couple of players in that time as well and then we'll be good to go.

Can't see us getting anything out of this, especially with Willock likely to be on the bench, but I suppose Blackburn are also in transition under Tomasson. My season expectations are low, so I'd be happy to be pleasantly surprised by a top half finish.

Think top four will be clear and 5th and 6th up for grabs. Given our defence looks shaky and up front powder puff I'll stick to 15th. |

Would personally (assuming all fit) go with:
Dieng
Albert Dickie Dunne Paal
Field Stef Amos
Willock Roberts Chair
I know Albert isn't really a RB but I would far sooner see him there than Kakay.
Realistically I can't see Willock being started either, so I imagine it'll be Richards in lieu of.
Final comment, I don't expect Dunne to start (based on pre season selections I expect JCS to play) - but, for me, Dunne is our best CB, and comfortably.
Not overly confident tbh, expecting a defeat but would be happy enough if we walked away with a point. Think we will start this season slowly what with a new manager, seeming new system, new ideas etc.
