I've just been lurking on WATRB's. Pinkie is spitting feathers cos he reckons Hal owes him fifty quid for the bet on McClaren doing better than Holloway.
The thread is on the Non-QPR section, and is quite funny (mainly cos Pinkie reckons he's been done over). I tried to post a tongue in cheek response, but it seems I've been banned from posting, or maybe put on pre-mod.

I was thinking the same made. Total points divided my total number of games managed. Highest points per game ratio takes the 50 quid!
How did McClaren end up? Was it 44 points in 38 games? As you say, it's gonna be a very close run thing with Ollie who was averaging slightly over a point a game too.

It's simple.
The bet was void when SMac was sacked. The bet was Ollie's performance over a season vs Smac.
I don't welsh, and at the time of the sacking either result was possible.

So, deleting threads, banning people, putting posters on pre-mod for asking a question ! Sounds like an enjoyable place, doesn’t it?
MYU isn’t very good at answering questions though, as we know, but surprisingly good at talking bollocks.
As is common knowledge now, time and time again he failed to answer genuine questions put to him by Stanley and myself. Odd things were happening behind the scenes, for which he seemed happy to accuse us, instead of looking at the available facts. He then managed to completely destroy any credibility he had left by promising to provide his evidence and then not doing so. Despite the odd gentle reminder.
None of this was necessary and all of it could have been avoided by telling the truth from the start. What on earth possessed him to ruin that site for the majority of long standing posters by siding with a persistent, proven liar over facts, I’ll never understand.

I responded to a thread titled Tony Fernandes must sell the club. I responded and when I submitted my post it took me to a page saying I needed to message someone as I was not logged in to view the topic. When I went back the topic has vanished completely

i didn't realise so many people on WATRB were put on pre-mod just for speaking out wtf? i knew some crap had gone on and that people weren't happy with myu's running of the forum and left to create this one but i didn't know long term members of that forum were being silenced.
one question i do have though, were messages on WATRB removed to stop people spreading this forum about?

Yes mate ,and it was that ,that stopped me posting there anymore ,the fact that my personal messages i should have been receiving were being intercepted and deleted . If that hadn`t of happened i probably would have posted on both sites. |
