Strange one as he was with us for nearly six years but never made a first team appearance (other than one friendly). Played 180 times for the reserves though.

Or a severe lack of ambition? Well done Hubs. Guessed it was too obscure for people to get without the 2nd clue. He joined around the Jago/Sexton era as a full back so just never got a look in with Gillard, Clement, Abbott and Tagg ahead of him. Eventually left to join Walsall and then Wimbledon where he had a bad injury and was forced to retire at 26. |
