Keepers never used to go up at the end of matches back in the day I don’t think? Maybe Bill can advise?

Gulf Air was our shirt sponsor under our last owners and lotto was our kit maker. Nothing to do with the owners purely bought in to generate funds.

They owned the airline… We were in the Premier League Who owned the airline? Gulf Air is state owned... not when they secured the kit and sponsorship deal. that kit deal from memory was peanuts in championship and jumped in prem if memory serves me right |

Gulf air was a sham and all smoke snd mirrors. They sold it as what deal could be not what it was. Sure it was actually only 1mil a season and gulf air walked away when they saw all bad press flabby brought to club

Richards was said to have been brought in with the idea of carrying the ball forward through MF, is Beale looking at Chair as a short term replacement in that role or is it being used as a learning spell for him to realise when to release the ball.

Total liability of a player I was thinking the same but I normally think West is spot on, so thought was just my normal bias against Niko. And to put on context, I cannot stand a young footballer who is a defender (!!) just not showing drive and commitment. That’s my bias. |

But as Gary Player once said "The more I practice, the luckier I get!" :-) I saw an article from Sunderland manager yesterday where he said Willocks goal was brilliant and we scored from 2 set pieces, but other than that the game belonged to Boro.I would tend to agree. He also made an odd comment about our formation, he said he’s never seen anything like it before in the Championship but had in the Prem |
