I would consider we were a tad fortunate to win last week against Boro and even more fortunate today, it’s nice to have what seems a lucky Manager. We weren't lucky last week. MB suggested that for around 40 mins we were great,I would agree, but over 90+ mins I would doubt that he would deny Boro could have taken a point. After taking a 3-0 lead the probability of us winning that game according to the internet was 99.1%, it certainly never felt that certain to me.

Bit of a smash n grab, papering over the cracks of lack of depth and quality.

Bit of a smash n grab, papering over the cracks of lack of depth and quality. Decent start to the season overall though? I mean look how well we've done considering all the key players still to return!?

Yes take the points etc, but it can’t last forever and will catch up on team.

I think, with Willock and Paal to return soon, possibly Tuesday night, Armstrong emerging as a phenomenal talent, and Laird coming in, we might just kick on from here and put together a decent run of results.
Yes, of course we take the points and celebrate the good fortune, but underneath that, I think you can just start to see Beale's methods making a difference. It may be a long and possibly difficult season - I think injuries will play a big part in that - but we could also see a totally revamped and revived QPR by the end of it.

That's my sense too. I am of the belief that you MAKE your own luck. Good fortune isn't always just random but can occur through the instilling of a winning / never-say-die mentality in the squad, and Beale would take credit for that. It certainly comes across in the steely resolve of his rhetoric.

Big fan of the manager and want him to succeed and those above him need to back and help him do that. Armstrong looks a plus but I would definitely want to see us get a striker to ease the pressure on the lad as Dykes just does not score enough.

Yes take the points etc, but it can’t last forever and will catch up on team. That is the danger. Last season too when we were on that great run we were winning games by single goals often scored late on, we were punching above our weight and it didn’t last. As Stanley said given the injuries you would probably take the league results so far but think jury v much still out on where our level is this season.

So arrogant and deluded, Sunderland fans make Newcastle seem modest. Remember when we played them in a cup game last year and their fans were all about how they would be back in the Prem in two years time. Don’t think they appreciate how tough the Championship is, and what a step up it is from League One. Leaving aside Seny’s goal, they probably aren’t used to someone of Chair’s quality sticking in a long range free kick like that.

I watched their home game against Coventry recently, Sunderland were very fortunate to come away with a home draw as Coventry were better.
Sunderland press, manager and fans are saying today they should have taken 6 points from both home games, they are away at Sheff Utd on Wednesday, I hope they suffer an embarrassing defeat.
As you said Stainrod deluded club, at least the big club up the road from them have a proper football history regarding famous and talented footballers.
Who have played for them of any note, maybe Dave Watson or Brian Clough many years ago.

I had a similar experience with a Mackem friend on WhatsApp. I was shocked at her degree of arrogance and condescension during the game. I tried to warn her that pride comes before a fall and suggested that perhaps all those years in the wilderness should make her more humble. She too rapidly disappeared at the end.

Leave aside the novelty of a keeper scoring, Dieng’s header was fantastic, perfect technique. Should be on a loop in the changing rooms all week. Any top striker would be proud of that header.

they are away at Sheff Utd on Wednesday You could easily get muddled up with that, and think you were playing Sheffield Wednesday on United.
