4 games in, whats everyones thoughts so far?
to me niko needs to be far away from the pitch, genuinely one of the worst players i've ever seen at QPR thats played a fair number of games.
armstrong and roberts must start whenever they're fit. no more off the bench stuff for armstrong, he's got pace, power and an eye for goal and turns a game on its head whenever he comes on the pitch. i've said it before but if he's not a prem player by the time he's 24 i'll get an RFI tattoo.
we lack a bit of fight and resolve about us for sure but todays game will no doubt give the squad a massive boost and show them that we can get back into games. we've got to stop playing with so much caution as i do think we have a good first 11.

No noticeable change from last season and work in progress
Still look unfit compared to other sides and still lack pace in key areas of the pitch

Not sustainable long term tho, we’ll drop if we don’t have more ambition than that. Good teams come down and teams on a roll come up so Champ gets more competitive every year.

Robert and Armstrong getting back to fitness. None of them are slouches and when back in the team we will have the pace required.

Maybe not long term but we are a long way short of being serious promotion candidates. This is a season to develop a few players, hopefully get some transfer fees and use our improved scouting and data analytics to bring through some more young players. Some signs of progress

Squad is crap as I said two months ago Squad is very thin and in an ideal world we would have a proven goal scorer and better full backs but when everyone is fit we have six or eight very good players who would at least challenge to get in most Championship sides

we certainly need more depth as we've lost a fair few squad players. i imagine we'll bring in at least 2 players before the ed of the window.
i remember a few years back when we went on an abysmal start to the year and ended up bringing in tomer hemed and nahki wells - 2 proven goalscorers at this level. i could see us doing similar as even though we have a strong first 11 there's not really much competition for places nor a reliable plan B.

First impressions are there are some poor sides in this div,but being the championship its unpredictable. As of now think if we avoid major injuries, keep our discipline avoiding cards and can hit some consistency we could be upper half but we are QPR so ignore this.😂

I don't think Armstrong will start anytime soon and Dickie has looked a lot more adventurous than last season which I quite like to see.

Two home games coming up where I would definitely start him in one - or both. How risky is it? No one has seen him so by the time they’ve worked him out we could be well up. If he bombs (he won’t) we’ve got the bench. FFS play him, let’s get excited about a young player.
