Pretty sure that Laird dived for the penalty appeal. I just accept all officials in Championship are poor, plenty will be worse than today. There was contact. Then the exact same thing happened a minute later in the middle of the park and he gave Rotherham the free kick. |

Fucking shite. Missed 2 stonewall pens. Linesmen weren't much better either. Linos have been shite since they were wired up. All they do is wait for what the ref says. |

I seen 2 replays of Laird one and think it’s very suspect call for ref to give pen, much easier for ref to guess in the middle of park and give free kick. The other one in first half from Roberts header I’ve only seen once but defender was close but arms of defender were away from body, would guess more a decent shout than Laird one for me. |

Yesterday's ref couldn't keep up with play . A decent ref will try and get his angles right , so he will see a handball , tackle or foul from a different angle from u and me . Keeping up with play helps the refs . The person to blame is the linesman . Yesterday by the west paddock he was caught ball watching a few times and missed offsides . He had a clear view of the hand ball but bottled it like most of them do .
