Second game in a row just over 12,000
That’s so poor.
Cost of living for some? Ticket prices?
I know traditionally we’ve averaged around 13,000 over the years but new manager, exciting players you would think we’d be getting 14k + at home.

Agree, but expensive hobby especially if you have a couple of kids. Uncertainty with travel strikes can’t help.

You’re right mate it is an expensive hobby.
Kids for a quid should be standard across the league. Fill the seats with potential future supporters.
Charging £36 for away fans is also a piss take. They’ll do the same to us up there.
Again, away tickets should be capped at £20 and kids a quid.

Can't get excited about us atm. Maybe because last season was so much fun and excitement until end of January and what happened then.

Ive said before that we should charge less on weekday games. South Africa road is always empty.
Cost of everything going up means watching football isn't as possible as before. Certainly harder for me and ive had to cut back on meeting for beers pre match etc.

100% cost of living. Few beers at 6 quid a pint pre match.Train ticket. Some grub. Match ticket (standing area 36 quid walk up prices lol). It’s ridiculous. Even if I drive it’s 20 quid in diesel and I’m less than 60 miles from hq. The cost of everything is fucking mental.

Definitely cost of living. I don't know many people that aren't feeling the pinch at the moment.

I might be in minority here but I don’t think the standing area should be any cheaper then seating. Your watching the same game with the same view as a seated person so why should that be cheaper?
Standing still have option to sit if they want where as I hardly fit into my seat especially if someone sat beside me.

Tricky one. Here we all are wanting the club to sign a striker but we also want cheaper tickets.
I get it about the cost of living. But difficult for the club. If they reduce the ticket prices to get another 3,000/4,000 thru the gates but they have then got less money off the existing 12,000 (including having to reduce season ticket prices) it cd end up costing the club a lot of money.
Other factors on top of cost of living could be people still being away - plus as Timmy says, bit of a hangover from last season, until the last two games the atmosphere has been a bit down.

You can all knock the price of match beers off soon, as half if not more pubs be gone.

Doesn't that depend on how far you take it? Say the crisis continues or worsens and that 12,000 dwindles to 10-11,000, then at some stage the law of supply and demand kicks in, whereby you reduce prices in order to get more through the gate. Crowds would then start to pick up again, the ground starts to fill out and the club eventually make at least the same or more on a matchday compared to what they take on their current prices.

Furthermore I don't buy the argument about lack of entertaining football because even last season when our play-off hopes were over we were still getting attendances over 15,000 (in April).

I think the early start to the season has played a part - many people still on their hols. Attendances might start to rise now.
