Amos just can’t stay fit. Can’t rely on him.
Apart from today when he was poor I think SJ has been class last few games.

think it'd be harsh on field, he's a great player at this level and everyone makes mistakes. i'd prefer amos over dozzell personally but i will say that andre has been good, if not very good at times in that box to box role.
if hypothetically field was dropped i wouldn't be opposed to amos replacing him just to see amos and dozzell as the legs in midfield.

Box to box you have to contribute goals, neither look like doing that often enough, certainly not Dozzell. Wasn’t sold on Dozzell but has definitely improved in the short time Beale has been here and I like the way he quickly drops in when Laird goes forward. I fear for Amos’ career, hope I’m wrong.

I don’t think I’d drop Field. I still think he’s best we’ve got in that position. I think if Amos gets fit, we will start to be able to rotate the midfield. We are at our best with high energy and need to rotate to keep that up each game.

We have done well in the last few games, Swansea a side. Wholesale changes aren't needed. Some games, we will need more legs and some game we'll need people calmer on the ball. We have a mix of types of player. I don't think Amos is great if we are having most of the ball, but he is good if we are trying to press from the front. Likewise Johansen, as seen by his last few assists.
Whereas Dozzell is probably better when we are having more of the ball.

Tim and Amos in for Field and Johansen. Lorra more bite and forward play. Agree, but he likes to play with three, so who's the third? One of Field, Johansen and Dozzell currently. I'd go with Richards when fit though. And Johansen when Amos is out.

I think the lesson of playing Amos for too long in his comeback game is for now use him as an impact sub when chasing a game - a positive switch from one of the more defensive midfielders. Lets try him like that for a month or two and then re-assess.

Build him up slowly regards fitness and athleticism and he will be ok. Rush him and will breakdown again. 90mins first time round was amateurish
