35mil in debt and facing winding up order and apparently training ground closed.
Is there any opportunity for us to take advantage and get training ground back on cheap, as they did off us, and consider as Stadium opportunity as it’s a huge site or owners use it for other opportunities connected to club. What are building regs on site like that would it be a goer??
Shame it’s come up at this time, when we have found training ground, as would have answered training ground issues perfectly.

thats a brilliant shout westy. hopefully the club already know about it as it'd be a prime location for a new stadium.

Would have been great if someone had foresight to have asked for first option to buy back if ever sold

Administrators will try and get as much gravy as possible for that land if sold. We would not be in running.

Surely Wasps don't train there anymore mate. They moved the club to the Midlands 3 or 4 seasons back.

This is Twyford Avenue we're talking about right?
Don't believe Wasps own it. Owned by Ealing Borough Council isn't it?
Wasps launched a new all singing all dancing first team training ground in the Midlands a year or so back. Cost them 4m quid apparently, which seems ridiculous if they are 35m in the red now.
Suspect Wasps and Worcester will merge, sell off half the combined assets and become Worcester Wasps RFC or something like that. They'll probably end up having to drop a division due to sanctions etc. but it looks like the only fix for those 2 clubs as things stand.

Surely Wasps don't train there anymore mate. They moved the club to the Midlands 3 or 4 seasons back. still owned by them as far as I’m aware and they currently or were using it for youth teams and the woman’s. Sons football team were using the Astro turf there for training but have been informed by club can’t use for now. They had to have some big committee meeting about facility being used for football 🙄 If they sold it to ealing borough they done that on quiet and why would ealing want potential liability of the site when they can’t even maintain Warren farm sane as H&F can linford christie

Interesting post. If Wasps own it, I can't see the administrators letting it go on the cheap. If the council own it, and anyone wants to do anything like a build a stadium on it, I can see quite a few issues... Agree about the training ground, would've been good, but all of this is Chris Wright legacy and maybe we're better off where we are.

Wasps lost their way when they left their roots in Sunbury and basically franchised themselves by moving all over England. Warning to us if we ever leave Loftus Road

Westy, the club are currently inviting ST holders to submit questions to the upcoming Fans Forum, so I suggest this would be a good one for you to send in!
