Never saw your questions sparks. In answer to the question do we need a big man up top we’ll answer is very much down to how you want to play. nice to have the option of someone big and awkward if needed (maybe not every game but option is there). Would I want CF all the size of chair? No but again nice have someone quick and nippy if they can put ball in the net. Balance of squad is my answer. So yes I think we do need a big man to compliment rest of squad. As I said before I don’t see us bringing in another lump whilst Dykes is still here., money better spent on someone that Willock or Chair could play off.

Spoke to an AFC Wimbledon lad today who knows a bit. Apparently we are definitely in for Ayoub Assal. He rates him. Can play 10 or either wing. Will likely cost £1.2 to £1.5m. i guess that means chair or willock will be off? i'd be okay with that tbh. it is what it is and if we could get 8-10m for either one it'd be some great business. I see room for another like that. Chair or Willock get injured we have nothing

We are def a different team without him

Due to finances we will not recruit
Without selling a player
We actually need two more strikers i think

Willock in last 3 nonths of his contract Nope. Contracted til the summer with a 12 month extension in place based on appearances (which you'd assume he's reached).

Chair. Whoever will need to get him to get his head up and release ball sooner if he’s to make it in the Prem.

If one of them is off it probably should be Willock if out of contract in just over 12months as then you get nothing.
Not sure either will be in demand unfortunately.

If there is no fee just wages does that make a pukki affordable or assuming they still would not do due to wage structure.

In fairness If the board did sanction a couple of good forward players (and no idea if we can afford it) we could be a half decent team

Chair more so as profile raised since World Cup. Whatever we say/think he is a World Cup Semi Finalist and the first one since Paul Parker in 1990.

i have been told both Dembele and Lowe are on the radar and both will be loans with view to perm deals and ive also been told QPR are leading the race to sign both from Bournemouth not 100 per cent convinced by my informant though as ive been given duds before Be good signings and both coming from the same club should help them both settle in as well. Loan with view to perms are exactly the right way to do it. Problem is, we have so many on loan already that we'll need to cancel one/two. A poster was saying that its not poss to cancel either Richards or Roberts but if it were then neither would be any loss.

Don't need to necessarily cancel any loans as I understand it. The rule is you can only select 5 in a match day squad. Nothing stopping you from having more than 5 in the first team squad and deciding which 5 are selected each game.

Hugill mentioned on another forum. Would he be an upgrade on Dykes? Maybe.

Hugill mentioned on another forum. Would he be an upgrade on Dykes? Maybe. Certainly would be. No world beater but he’s competitive and if you asked defenders who would give them more trouble I reckon the answer wouldn’t be Dykes.

It doesn't matter who comes if Dykes stays because he's an automatic selection.
The only person who dropped him was Beale, and then we started playing some football in the final third.
That didn't last because of injuries. Critch needs to wake up fast re LD.
