I thought so too. Defence fell apart without him. I think if Mr.Klopp had been in our dugout he'd have had a bit of fire in his belly after that one. Being cool is one thing, but we need to be a bit harder and a bit smarter. Have to be bad cop sometimes, on and off the park. Hope Mick gets that. Beale is far too accepting of the ‘they’re only human’ angle - he said at the training ground meeting a couple of months back that there is no point hassling refs and things even out over a season - all of which is bollocks in my book. They need telling when they’re shit. They might know the rules but most of the time they don’t know the game. Get on their case and some might learn. |

Well it's a steep learning curve for our new boy, but I think he's coping admirably so far. Football management is a febrile business at best, especially in this league. IF there's a weakness as a manager, this is probably it. He does seem a quick learner though so I'd expect he'll improve in that regard in time. |
