will say that the penalty was perhaps warrented from my view in the loft, laird should have had a penalty earlier so it has worked out ok. never ever a red though, not even a yellow imo.

cardiff look AWFUL though. worst team i've seen in a while. they're playing like they're 10-0 up with 5 minutes to go. completely resigned to their fate.

what a first half though, we were absolutely brilliant in every part of the pitch. chair is having an excellent game and is getting better and better. dykes looks like a 20 goal a season striker with how well he's leading the line tonight. both wingbacks playing their part, balogun is having a great game too.
i think armstrong is doing very well on his full debut but its very clear that he's still raw as he's been caught out a few times, switched off and been in offside positions a fair few time. when the ball is in a place that he wants though he really shines.

i'm hoping the players are playing this well because beale has told them he's staying. they look very assured and highly motivated imo which i don't think would be the case if beale had been coy with them.
