What's mid-table abouts Wolves Sponge? they've looked like a sack of gash every time I've seen them play this season! look at their team and say that, all they really need is a good striker and a good coach. |

Until anything’s confirmed that’s my default stance when it comes to the British tabloids. They’re amongst the worst in the world for it. It’s a cut throat industry and competition is fierce. Their priority is to sell papers, subscriptions and generate advertising revenue, not to report truthfully. Follow the money. Also, why go to Wolves when, at the rate we’re going, we MIGHT be a Premier League club next season. His stock will be even higher then too. We're top of the league as we speak. And finally, some were saying he’d lost the dressing room if the story was true. Well it hardly looks like it on the first half evidence, does it? |

Agree with all of that Stan. Just heard a few a folks that know a bit suggest Beale wants the move this evening. Doesn't make sense to me, but the ITK's generally know the score.

Would think he will address it after the game. Before the game disrupts plans for tonight and as long as the team know the score and stay focused that’s all that matters. Don’t look like it’s affecting them too much does it? I suspect if he was 100% gone there might be a bit of body language from the squad. Absolutely nothing. Should probably wait to see what happens before cunting off the man who’s given us our best start to the season in over 10 years. Having said that I won’t be happy with him if he does go this early into what is clearly going to be an exciting season. Let’s see what happens

Would anyone on here genuinely not be intrigued to hear what Wolves had to say before making a decision either way? personally if it were me i'd take the wolves job. the money would be great, they have a good squad and the potential to be challenging top 7 with the right players and tactics. i think beale took a paycut to be here too, he's on something like 400k a year from what i've heard. wolves would double or triple that. |

I've had an open offer for a job in Dubai paying double what I'm getting in the UK for a big chunk of this year. Alright, I'm likely gonna take it in January, but I'm seeing out the year in the current job to get what I said I'd do done. But I suppose I'm not in the football industry, so it ain't apples for apples. |

Can't agree with that Stan. If I heard someone working for me was interviewing for another job a few months after starting I'd not be best pleased. And I would struggle to trust them if they did stay.
I'd love to know what was discussed in the "honest conversation" between Les and Beale.

He's gone. Done and dusted. He'd have shot it down. Leaving a club top of the championship, with a team you've built, for a PL club fighting relegation? You'd have to be fucking mad. And ambitious. If he goes, I'll look up PL results for the first time since 2015 in the hope Wolves are fucking annihilated every game.

The Wolves owner will already have done a ring round of Gerrard, Klopp and other folks that have worked with Beale. They'll have got the tapes in of the games he's managed and they'll already have an idea of what they're getting. I bet they'll have talked money at least this evening though. Leaves a sour taste. Way too much mercenary behavior going on in the world these days. People not honouring their word etc. |

He had what they call a wash up with the development staff in the morning where they discuss where players are at, fitness, progress etc. That’s been cancelled and players asked to come in at a rearranged time. He’s going. |
