..last night, at just after 8pm, someone tried to not only access my account here (I received three password change request messages in a row), but also on LFW. I've had some weird stalkers on here before and it's always a bit disconcerting when you discover some anonymous person is trying to... well, I don't know what they're trying to do. But it does bring home the fact that despite that most of us who post regularly on here know each other, we have no idea who else is lurking and reading, and what teir agenda might be. Stan, it was at 20.06 last night, so if you have the IP address of who was online at that time, then you might have a clue who this was.

The only thing I can think of is you mentioned recently that QPR+ had refunded your £10 back, could that be related?

No, Sparks, I don't think so; different times, anyway. And there's no way QPR+ would have anything to do with two separate messageboard accounts. It's got to be someone who... well, like I say, I have no idea what their agenda is, apart from mischief.

Perhaps trying their luck with a hack on something with quite a low level of security in the hope that they can uncover passwords and information required to hack something with genuine value. I had somebody hack my Amazon and Uber Eats once. They were ordering food and clothing to an estate in East London.
I'd change passwords for everything, and ensure you have effective virus protection on all devices mate.

Nothing unusual in the logs Hubs. And we don't have IP addresses of non-members.
I'd definitely change your password though, and make sure it's a secure one containing at least 12 characters, including symbols, capitals, lower case and numbers.
I use LastPass for all my passwords. Makes life a lot easier so never get these kind of issues.

Straight up chaps. They were ordering huge orders from pizza shops late at night to this estate, I'm assuming the flat in question was uninhabited and they just hung around outside for the delivery.
I was in Johannesburg at the time watching my credit card get rinsed at all hours and doing my nut. Proper nightmare!

The reason I don't think it's a random data/hack attempt is that they tried both my LFW and RFI accounts, one after the other, which implies it's someone who uses these two messageboards. Anyway, yes, I have changed my password and yes, I have AV running.
