Got to start at home with 2 up top,still applies imo The 4/3/3 with no recognised 9 is when we've looked really good. Playing Dykes as a 1 up creates a supply problem for multiple reasons. I've never fancied us playing 4-2-3-1 said so before the game. |

Lack of fight today, second to every ball. Thought Beale would get them fired up at half time but only marginal improvement. Willock anonymous (hope just lack of match sharpness). Dickie and Balagoun had a nightmare first 10 mins and it seemed to set the tone. Painful to say but WBA much better than us on the day and fully deserved the three points. We looked half asleep.

They never troubled Seny. The freak chance first half, thanks to Dickie, and the goal. They pretty much stopped us using the flanks. And we haven't a striker whom we can play in through the middle. Never had an attack after they scored tbh. Except the half chance for Albert. Poor all round.

Our bench was very weak but perhaps should have taken Armstrong on earlier. Doubt it would have helped though.

A striker is so fucking important for us in January. Two would be better so we could get rid of this useless fucker. Toothless. Poor today against a shit WBA side. |

They stopped us going down both flanks. We can't go through the middle with Dykes. We do need a new striker. Or if Field is injured. Dozzell is pants.
