I don't even wanna talk about the game yesterday. Such a poor effort against a bang average side.
In general, I'm pretty concerned at what we've seen since the Beale/Wolves saga. Seems to have unsettled things.
On a positive note, good to get together with a few off here. Nice to see you Stan, Croyds, Al & Westy!

I`m not so sure that Beale has anything to do with this recent dip in form, imo Corberan and his tactical nouse was the deciding factor last night. Another factor is the clearly asymtric and thin squad. Our midfielders are too similar and we clearly miss an out and out striker. Ps. Stefan J. sorely missed last night.

Not going to say to much about yesterdays match
But there is no excuse for these lacklusture performances to teams around the bottom of the league
It was a full house yesterday and they didn’t turn up very poor
Every time we get near the top we blow it big time it’s not good enough
Does this mean that we are more reliant on Johanson than we all think we are

We missed Johansen at the set pieces yesterday Gens. Don't see it as an excuse for the lack of cutting edge though. As you say, we just didn't show up again. For the 3rd time in the space of a month!

Does this mean that we are more reliant on Johanson than we all think we are I said in the Norwich match thread that we're missing him. Perhaps it's no coincidence that our dip has coincided with his absence. Luke Amos has been his direct replacement and, as yet, he's not really a like for like. Again and as always, IMO.

In his post match interview MB spoke about them having bigger and more powerful players, there is not many of yesterdays team that you would expect to win 50/50 challenges.

They never troubled Seny. The freak chance first half, thanks to Dickie, and the goal. They pretty much stopped us using the flanks. And we haven't a striker whom we can play in through the middle. Never had an attack after they scored tbh. Except the half chance for Albert. Poor all round. I thought they dominated long periods of the match - they had the best chances and most of the possession first half (more even second). Think it was an excellent away performance from them and a piss poor home performance from us. We can’t complain they stopped us playing when to date they have been one of the worst teams in the league. But at times we made them looks almost premier league as we were without ideas, ambition or fight. Beale has had a sackful of praise but on recent performances really struggling to see the improvement on last season. Indeed, the home win against West Brom last year was really rousing - yesterday we looked like a bunch of individuals who couldn’t be arsed

Thought WBA just done a number on us tbh, came with a plan & execute it perfectly. We were pretty gash though, offered very little by way of goal threat. I thought Chair played quite well and covered every blade of grass as per, but not many others stood out. Dickie had a stinker. We've not been great at all of late, even the win v Wigan we were battered 2nd half. Need to dust ourselves done & go again tomorrow against a poor Huddersfield side.

Dickie has taken huge step backwards. Shadow of himself

Good new manager and new manager bounce for WBA is the only possible defence but even that is a weak one.
We've come into our first run of poor form under Beale so a real test of his resolve. Be telling to see how he gets through this and turns things round.
By his own admission he's a rookie manager and learning as he goes. I like the fact he shows humility there as most managers we've had in recent times were arrogant and stubborn which ultimately proved their downfall. Beale is at least tactically flexible and makes changes when things clearly aren't working. So I'm watching this space with interest.
