It`s not all about our lack of decent attackers, a few of our defenders are just not good enough. Dickie is one of them. He`s hopefully off in January. Another point I want to make is that the defence and defensive midfield is so poor at pressing and marking because of lack of leadership and organisational cleverness.

Critchley not impressed me so far - many of us said it was going to be a tough night when we saw his bizarre team selection. A bit of a dour man - not sure he wd inspire too many in the trenches. Will reserve judgment but little evidence he knows anything about the players and it feels like it’s going to take him the rest of the season to work it out. Promotion a pipe dream, probably best to cash in where we can in Jan and start the rebuilding. Goodnight guys. tbh thats my worry too. hes a very good coach and thats without question but i feel like he was stepping in to big shoes to fill when the eel left. say what you want about that cunt but he knew how to build a raport with players and i imagine he was loved by the team who now feel very betrayed. its a tough job to step into. |

He needs time to get his ideas and methods across, especially to a side in poor form but I’ve got to say he don’t half come across as a boring fucker.
We’re not on the training ground with him of course but listening to him I think he’d put a glass eye to sleep.
Just comes across very droney.
Time will tell but I’m worried I’ve gotta say!

Since Beale has left the high press has disappeared.It’s more about some of our players not showing desire to compete with teams who battle.Luton wanted it more than us tonight just like earlier in the season.
Don’t matter if Johansen comes back and finds forward passes with nothing up front to finish the move off.

I thought we pressed high up the pitch to good effect early under Beale, Johansen contributed to 2 or 3 assists by winning tackles 10 yards from oppo penalty box.
We were pressing teams into mistakes from memory, haven’t seen that yet under Critchley West Acton.
