problem is i don't think we have enough proper 'john terry' types in the club. adomah seems like a lovely guy, the kind of dude you'd ring up when your first love has broke your heart. stef seems like a steady eddy who doesn't let things phase him. chair a bit immature even though he clearly loves the club, field too calm and balogun was one of the eel's men.
theres no one there who'd threaten to eat your first born unless you step it up. a lot of talent sure but no one to force the players to stop mopping and get over the eel.
when we come up against an unmotivated team we're great, we love playing against complacent players but whenever we play against a well drilled and tough team we just don't know what to do.
first port of call is to get rid of that shirt stealing cabbertossing donkey and bring in ANYONE else. i don't care if its a 50yo steward from plymouth, anyone would be better than him up top.
then shout at the players and tell them to get on with it. enough is enough, stop being so hungup over the eel and get on with your job.
losing in the manner we lost tonight is unacceptable pure and simple. i'm more than okay with losing 1, 2 or even 3-0 as long as we give it our all and leave everything on the pitch and send the supporters home happy in the knowledge that we tried our best.
we're never going to be man city but ffs at least try, all of our playets are in the top 1% of earners in the country and all thats asked of them is that they give an 11/10 performance for 90 minutes a week.

We were top 3-4 all season until the fat moley faced cunt screwed us over, actually flirting with top spot at times. I think him jumping ship has totally deflated the players and it's thrown us off course so badly it will be hard to recover any time soon. Throw in a new manager, new coaches, new style, new voices and it's just a struggle right now. There is a good team in there, problem is they are just not performing. |

You only have to watch the Sheffield Utd game to see grit, determination and effort. |

Johansen not playing has killed us as like him or not the bloke is our captain and is a leader and is a player who when he does not play shows how important he is to us. Dykes, Dozzell, Shodipo ans the likes of Kakay are just rubbish. I respect your thought on them not downing tools but for me I do not agree with it. |

It’s not the greatest squad but there is a team in there and I don’t think anyone on here would disagree that it would be transformed by having at least one, preferably two, decent strikers providing a threat in the box and keeping defenders under pressure. Then Chair and Willock could create and be the late arrivals in the box. If we can all see it……..? |
