In reality they're not mate. We were top 3-4 all season until the fat moley faced cunt screwed us over, actually flirting with top spot at times. I think him jumping ship has totally deflated the players and it's thrown us off course so badly it will be hard to recover any time soon. Throw in a new manager, new coaches, new style, new voices and it's just a struggle right now. There is a good team in there, problem is they are just not performing. It’s not the greatest squad but there is a team in there and I don’t think anyone on here would disagree that it would be t ransformed by having at least one, preferably two, decent strikers providing a threat in the box and keeping defenders under pressure. Then Chair and Willock could create and be the late arrivals in the box. If we can all see it……..? Had this convo with a mate at the Sheff Utd game. You get a decent handful of a striker who can score in the side it raises everyone's game as there is always a chance said player will produce something. Can you imagine how demoralising it must be playing in a side with Lyndon fucking Dykes up front offering absolutely fuck all? You're trying to make things happen literally knowing your striker will either be out of position, won't make the right run, will be second to every ball or just doesn't get in a position to shoot. Must take its toll and that's where I think these lot are at.

We need more than Chair and Willock to create our chances. We have become too predictable in that respect imo.

Exactly my point mate. Demoralising. Imagine how many he would have if he picked his head up. But totally agree with you. Dykes is better with someone with him. He won't score enough goals but he was always better with Austin next to him, for example. When Dykes is up for it, he can be a handful like against Shef Utd the other day. Problem is, that doesn't happen very often. I think he actually plays better when Kakay plays, as Kakay whips the ball in early doors, rather than trying to pass it in (and I don't rate Kakay so I feel a bit un easy giving him credit).

i bet Dykes is already on the sheet for Saturday Which of course is the problem, one that is not going away anytime soon. I don't think Beale wants him. The best we can hope for is that Critchley sticks him in as one of a two. The sight of the tattooed whore laughing and joking on the park after yet another abject team performance sickened me. I can forgive his lack of talent, of a any semblance of a football brain, but I can never forgive that. It`s just football of course, but so did Field for that matter. Therefore to me at least It seems to be a mentality thing. Bottomline: It doesn`t seem to hurt when they lose.

Or is it only an endemic QPR problem?

There's a time and a place for pissing about and that wasn't it. Some managers would tear them apart for that, and rightly so.

Interesting comment from Guardiola last night - “I prefer them to boo than stay silent because the players feel it”. I can see what he’s getting at, not sure I agree. I wonder if he meant it or is just double-bluffing his fans?

Why not just leave that to the oppo fans? Would it not make more sense to boo the owners / board instead, as those responsible for the running the club are normally the source of ire and frustration?

Even if you did aim it at the board and owners the players wouldn't know that would they? They'd just hear booing.
