liked warbs, best manager since warnock. had more downs than ups though and squandered a great opportunity last season with a terrible jan window and even worse form post jan.
getting rid looked like a masterstroke when we were top of the table in october but theres no point beating a dead horse. fact is we don't know how this season would have gone, we could be top of the table or bottom for all we know. it is what it is but personally i still feel like getting rid was the right choice at the time.

The fact he’s gone is not the issue it’s the potential ramifications of his exit which are of interest. Surely you need to learn from the past to improve the future? |

I wanted to say WTF is the point in going over this again. Which I did. And unless you're telepathically tuned into my thoughts, it's quicker than ignoring the thread. And you've wilfully missed my point me old china; it's not about not learning from the past, it's about not going over and over and over the same thing again and again..... which is quite different. He was not liked. He was a bit of a grass towards players and he was very clever in how he came across on camera to what he was behind closed doors. He had absolutely no interest in young players or developing them or even helping them improve and was largely unpopular at the club.
Also he wasn’t the messiah. This is the same man that left 2 strikers on the bench and started with none in a game. Ridiculous.
Not saying he was any worse than what we have now but I shed no tears when he was fucked off.
Also while we’re at it what has he brought to West Ham? Absolutely fuck all.
